Independent Component 2 Update: Relay for Life Fundraising Ideas

Every team at the Relay for Life focuses on a certain type of cancer to spread awareness about. The cancer I chose to focus on is Cardiovascular Cancer. I wanted my fundraising approaches to relate to my focus in order to better promote awareness. The following are my ideas on how to fundraise in correspondence with Cardiovascular Cancer:

• Heart shaped sunglasses
• Heart shaped baked goods and sweets
• Heart shaped henna designs
• Heart jewelry (wire rings & bracelets)

Aside from this, I am currently trying to get a restaurant to a hold fundraising event for my Relay for Life team, "The Curesaders". I will be calling and emailing restaurant managers to arrange this as soon as possible.
