1. Who do you plan to interview? Why?
I plan to interview Rachel Shur. She was my mentor during my 10- hour volunteering at her organization, UCAAN. Rachel is a cancer survivor herself. She survived Leukemia. She has such a positive perspective about every little thing in life and I really admire that. I think she would be the perfect person for my first interview.
2. You have to ask 5 questions. What additional questions do you plan to ask?
Additional questions that I plan to ask include:
- What was the very first thought that popped into your head when you found out that you had cancer?
- On a scale of 1-10, how afraid were you?
- Did you think survival was possible?
- How did your loved ones react to your diagnosis?
- What did you do in the hospital during your spare time?
- What made you comfortable while you were in the hospital?
- What pushed you to start your cancer organization, UCAAN?
- What is the benefit that cancer survivors get from your organization?
